About Wenwen
Hi, I'm Wenwen — a curious wanderer who travels the world looking for the small, beautiful things most people walk right past.
My style of travel is probably a little unusual. I rarely visit tourist attractions. Instead, I wander through neighborhoods, duck into anonymous little shops, chat with the people who make things, and buy objects I love even when I can't possibly carry them home.
Over the years I've built a long list: a ceramics studio down a quiet lane in Kyoto, an old woman selling handmade candles at a Copenhagen weekend market, a girl in California's Ojai Valley turning local honey into skincare... These people, and the things they make, remind me how big and beautiful the world is.
I love nature. I love animals. The things that linger longest in my memory from any trip are rarely buildings or museums — more often it's a cat dozing on a market stall, or a whole grove of trees glittering with fireflies at dusk.
Wenwen's Wonder House is where I keep these discoveries. No sponsorships, no ads — just the things I genuinely love. If you also find joy in seeking out small, beautiful things while traveling, I hope you'll enjoy exploring with me.
